About Aluminium Recycling

Aluminium is third most abundant element on earth. Yet 2/3 of the all aluminium produced ever produced is still in use today. Because aluminium can be recycled infinitely, without compromising any of its physical or mechanical properties or reducing its quality.

Additionally, aluminium's lifecycle provides enormous effeciency when it is recycled. Recycling aluminium costs %95 less energy compared to producing primary aluminium. You can read that as recycling aluminium can be realized with only 5% of the energy required producing same amount of it from ore.

Aluminium recycling consists five stages:

  • Collection of scrap
  • Sorting scrap
  • Crushing
  • Breaking and Remelting
  • Casting
